President of Kyrgyzstan said at a meeting with Russian Ambassador to the country Valentin Vlasov in Bishkek on Thursday that cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia is developing in all directions based on mutual understanding. "There are no disagreements whatsoever between us, I'm very thankful to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin who with great understanding treats our requests on cooperation spheres," Bakiyev stressed. In the view of the Kyrgyz president, the work of the Kyrgyz-Russian inter-governmental commission for trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation has considerably promoted the development of bilateral relations in the economic sphere. "It is gratifying that trade-economic cooperation between our countries is developing dynamically," Bakiyev pointed out. According to official statistics of the Kyrgyz side, the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Russia accounted for almost 800 million US dollars last year. In preceding years, indicators of export and import operations between the two countries were three to five times lower, according to a report of Itar-Tass news agency.
