A man has died after a yacht capsized in the English channel, one of the world's most heavily used shipping lanes, British police said on Saturday. "We were called this morning after a lifeboat recovered a body," a Devon and Cornwall police spokesman told Reuters. The yacht's four other crew members were airlifted from a life raft to a Plymouth hospital in southwest England following an air and sea rescue operation after a merchant ship had reported distress flares. The Solent-registered yacht capsized after losing its keel and the man's death is now being investigated by the Marine Accident Investigation Unit.
