A SAUDI FLYING AMBULANCE PLANE USED BY THE SAUDI ARABIAN RED CRESCENT SOCIETY (SARCS) CRASHED TODAY, KILLING ITS CAPTAIN AND TWO DOCTORS, IT WAS ANNOUNCED HERE. IN A STATEMENT, THE GENERAL SUPERVISOR FOR FLYING AMBULANCE PROJECT, AN AFFILIATE OF THE SARCS, DR. KHALID AL-HABASHI SAID THE ACCIDENT TOOK PLACE AT 4:15 P.M. AS THE PLANE WAS RETURNING TO ITS BASE IN ALMADINAH ALMUNAWARAH REGION. KILLED IN THE ACCIDENT WERE CAPTAIN NAJAT DESTOOJ, A BOSNIAN, AND THE ACCOMPANYING MEDICAL TEAM CONSISTING OF DR. ADBULSALAM AL-SHEIKH AND DR. MAHMOUD AL-HUWAIL, BOTH SYRIANS. PRINCE FAISAL BIN ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ, CHIEF OF THE SAUDI ARABIAN RED CRESCENT SOCIETY HAS ORDERED PROMPT INVESTIGATION TO REVEAL THE REASON OF THE PLANE'S CRASH, APPEALING TO ALMIGHTY ALLAH TO BESTOW MERCY UPON THE SOULS OF THE VICTIMS, DR. AL-HABASHI SAID.
