SUDANESE PRESIDENT AND PRINCE NAWAF TO OPEN BUILDING IN KHARTOUM

SUDANESE PRESIDENT OMAR HASSAN AL-BASHEER AND PRINCE NAWAF BIN FAISAL BIN FAHD BIN ABDULAZIZ, THE VICE-PRESIDENT OF YOUTH WELFARE, WILL OPEN IN KHARTOUM TOMORROW THE NEW VENUE FOR THE SUDANESE FOOTBALL FEDERATION.
THE VENUE OF THE SUDANESE FOOTBALL FEDERATION WAS BUILT AT THE EXPENSE OF LATE PRINCE FAISAL BIN FAHD BIN ABDULAZIZ, AND WAS FURNISHED BY PRINCE NAWAF BIN FAISAL BIN FAHD BIN ABDULAZIZ.
PRINCE NAWAF SAID THIS PROJECT WHICH CONSTITUTES ONE OF THE ARCHITECTURAL LANDMARKS IN KHARTOUM WAS A GIFT FROM PRINCE FAISAL BIN FAHD TO THE SUDANESE PEOPLE.
LATE PRINCE FAISAL PLACED A GREAT VALUE TO THE SUDANESE PEOPLE AND TO THE SPORTS IN SUDAN AND IN THE ARAB WORLD IN GENERAL, HE SAID.
THIS PROJECT STANDS A WITNESS FOR THE EXISTING DEEP-ROOTED RELATIONS BETWEEN SAUDI ARABIA AND SUDAN, HE SAID.
IT IS HOPED THAT THIS BUILDING WHICH HAS BEEN FURNISHED AND LINKED WITH THE NETWORKS OF COMPUTER AND THE SUPPORTING SERVICES, WILL POSITIVELY CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FOOTBALL IN SUDAN AND ENABLE IT RESTORE THE GLORIES OF THE PAST AT THE ARAB AND AFRICAN ARENAS', PRINCE NAWAF ADDED.
ON HIS PART, DR KAMAL SHADDAD, THE PRESIDENT OF THE SUDANESE FOOTBALL FEDERATION, WELCOMED PRINCE NAWAF BIN FAISAL, AND HIGHLIGHTED THE SUPPORT EXTENDED BY THE KINGDOM TO SUDAN.
THE SUDANESE PEOPLE DO APPRECIATE THE SUPPORT EXTENDED BY THE KINGDOM TO THEIR COUNTRY', HE SAID ADDING THAT THE NEW BUILDING HAS PROVIDED A CLEAR EVIDENCE FOR THE EXISTING STRONG FRATERNAL RELATIONS BETWEEN SAUDI ARABIA AND SUDAN.
DR SHADDAD PRAISED THE GREAT ATTENTION GIVEN TO THE SUDANESE SPORTS BY LATE PRINCE FAISAL BIN FAHD BIN
ABDULAZIZ.
IT IS WORTH MENTIONING THAT THE PROJECT WAS IMPLEMENTED AT A TOTAL COST OF $960,000.
THE 3-STOREY BUILDING INCLUDES A MEETING HALL, OFFICES AND
OTHER UTILITIES.
