King Abdullah II of Jordan left Amman today for Cairo to hold talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. According to a press release, the Egyptian-Jordanian talks will focus on the situation in the region especially the deteriorating situation in the Palestinian territories in light of the escalation of the political tension in the Palestinian territories. Discussions will also cover with the situation in Iraq in the light of the escalation of sectarian violence in the country in addition to bilateral relations between Egypt and Jordan in all spheres.
