European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, meeting with President George W. Bush, says this is «defining moment» for Doha round of trade talks, AP reported. Barroso met with Bush Monday in an attempt to jump-start global free trade talks that collapsed in July over deep differences on farm subsidies. «It will be a very important signal for the world community if we show that it is possible to have a global approach to trade and development,» Barroso said.
