THE PARTICIPANTS OF THE MEETING REVIEWED REPORTS PERTAINING TO THIS YEAR'S HAJJ SEASON SUBMITTED BY THE CONCERNED SECTORS INCLUDING THE MUNICIPALITY OF MADINAH, THE BRANCH OF THE HAJJ MINISTRY, THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE HEALTH AFFAIRS, THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE AIRPORT, THE BRANCH OF THE MINISTRY OF WATER, AND THE SAUDI RED CRESCENT SOCIETY. IT IS WORTH MENTIONING THAT UP TO SUNDAY, JAN 7, 2007, THE NUMBER OF PILGRIMS ARRIVING IN MADINAH AMOUNTED TO 148,457, WHILE THE NUMBER OF THE DEPARTING PILGRIMS AMOUNTED TO 18,058 AND THE NUMBER OF THE REMAINING PILGRIMS IN MADINAH AMOUNTED TO 130,386.
