Aziz, accompanied by the Assistant Interior Minister for Security Affairs held a meeting of the Heads of security sectors of the Interior Ministry participating in the pilgrimage this year. At the outset of the meeting, the Director of the Public Security and the Chairman of security Committee on Hajj, delivered a speech in which he thanked Prince Naif for visiting the Center, on behalf of the security sector commanders who are assigned with the implementation of security plans during Hajj. He said Prince Naif's visit will motivate further security men to exert more efforts in order to achieve the aspirations of the Saudi leadership who work for the comfort and tranquility of the guests of Allah. He confirmed that prince Naif's visit to the command and control Center comes in the framework of care being undertaken by the government of Saudi Arabia which is doing what it can for the comfort of the pilgrims. Lieutenant General Al-Qahtani assured that accidents are on a lower level than in the past and that the quality of performance increased significantly at the three stages, namely the pilgrims Moving to Arafat, Leaving Arafat , entering Mina or at the first day of "Tashreeq. " He added reports are 'satisfactory' by the grace of Allah and thanks to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz for the development of the Jamarat Bridge which enabled the security forces to implement successfully their plans. He pointed out that on the second day of Tashreeq, stoning the pebbles was according to plans by identifying specific directions and routes to the bridge and return from their to the respective camps of pilgrims. He also stressed that the security forces are operating under an integrated system and following the directions of the Minister of Interior and his Assistant Minister for security affairs.
