IN IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DIRECTIVES OF PRINCE FAISAL BIN ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ, CHIEF OF SAUDI RED CRESCENT SOCIETY, THE SOCIETY'S BRANCH IN MADINAH HAS TRANSPORTED BY AMBULANCES 21 SICK PILGRIMS FROM HOSPITALS IN MADINAH TO MAKKAH AND THEY HAVE PERFORMED THEIR HAJJ RITUALS EASILY AND COMFORTABLY. THE SICK PILGRIMS WERE ADMITTED TO HOSPITALS IN MADINAH DURING THEIR PRESENCE THERE TO VISIT THE PROPHET'S MOSQUE PRIOR TO HAJJ RITUALS. ON THE OTHER HAND, THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH HAS ENABLED 299 SICK PILGRIMS TO PERFORM THEIR HAJJ RITUALS BY TRANSPORTING THEM ON BOARD VEHICLES SOME OF WHICH WERE PROVIDED WITH BEDS. IN A STATEMENT TO THE SAUDI PRESS AGENCY, DR. KHALID BIN MOHAMMED MIRGHALANI, THE OFFICIAL SPOKESMAN AT THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH SAID THAT THE MINISTRY HAS PREPARED AN EMERGENCY PLAN AT JAMARAT BRIDGE, POINTING TO THE PRESENCE OF 20 AMBULANCES AND 30 MEDICAL TEAMS. ON THEIR PART, SAUDI ROYAL AIR FORCES HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO SUPPORTING INTERNAL SECURITY FORCES AND OTHER GOVERNMENTAL BODIES IN ACTIVATING THE SECURITY HAJJ PLAN BY SOME AIRCRAFT MONITORING MOVEMENT OF VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS AND BY MEDICAL EVACUATION PLANES TRANSFERRING PATIENTS AND INFLICTED PILGRIMS.
