The meetings of the 18th session of the Council of Arab Ministers in charge of environment affairs was opened by Algeria's Prime Minister Abdulaziz Belkhadem here today. Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, General President of Meteorology and Environment Protection, leads Saudi Arabia's delegation to the meeting. Representatives of a number of Arab organizations in charge of environment are taking part in the two-day event. Addressing the gathering, Belkhadem called the protection of environment as among the world's hot issues. In a statement to reporters, Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz highlighted the Saudi policy and efforts in protection of environment.
