AN OFFICIAL SOURCE AT THE MINISTRY OF DEFENSE AND AVIATION AND GENERAL INSPECTION SAID THAT THIS AFTERNOON DURING A COLLECTIVE TRAINING CONDUCTED BY THE COMMAND OF THE SAUDI ROYAL NAVAL FORCES AT THE WESTERN FLEET, A "DOLPHIN' HELICOPTER TOOK OFF FROM HIS MAJESTY THE KING'S SHIP "ABHA". AFTER THE TAKE OFF, THE HELICOPTER SUFFERED A TECHNICAL FAULT LEADING TO ITS FALL IN THE SEA. THE HELICOPTER'S PILOT AND ASSISTANT WERE RESCUED. SEARCH FOR THE AIR TECHNICAL NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER IS UNDERWAY. ALSO, CAUSES OF THE INCIDENT ARE BEING INVESTIGATED.
