Israeli troops shot and wounded two Palestinians in separate incidents in the northern Gaza Strip on Sunday, a Palestinian rescue official said, marring a fragile two-week cease-fire. The army said it had no knowledge of any incidents Sunday and there were no Israeli forces inside Gaza, according to a report of the Associated Press. One man, 22, was shot and wounded by troops early Sunday near the northern Gaza town of Jebaliya, according to Dr. Muawiya Hassanin of the Palestinian Health Ministry. The second man, 29, was wounded several hours later near the town of Beit Lahiya, Hassanin said.
