Pakistan and Argentina have decided to undertake joint ventures in livestock and dairy production and carry out joint research in agro-technology including oilseed and hybrid seed production in Pakistan, says an official statement. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed in Buenos Aires in this context. Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan and his Argentine counterpart Engineer Miguel Campos signed the document. The MoU provides for exchange of scientists, research and expertise including in biotechnology. It covers import and export of agricultural products. On the occasion, Bosan highlighted specific areas in which Pakistan was looking for mutually beneficial collaboration with Argentina.
