The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) signed here today an agreement accrording to which the Bank would provide a grant worth US $ 300,000 to contribute to the project of rebuilding a school in the Chechen capital, Grozny. The project will be conducted by the Islamic Relief Foundation in Birmingham. The agreement was signed by Lotfi Al-Sayyd on behalf of the Islamic Relief Foundation and Dr. Amadou Boubacar Cisse, the Vice President of the Islamic Development Bank. This agreement falls within the scope of the efforts made by IDB to help Muslim communities in non-member States, particularly in the field of education and health.
