Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Malek, Shoura Council Secretary General, received here today a delegation from the US State Department including the Vice Assistant of Secretary of State for Middle East Affairs John Scott Carpenter; and Vice Assistant of Secretary of State for Human Rights Ireka Parkes Rgelz. During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed issues of mutual interest in the various political, economic and social fields. They also discussed parliamentary relations between the Shoura Council and the US Congress in addition to discussing a number of issues in the regional and international arenas. Also, they discussed ways of enhancing and developing the bilateral relations.
