Blair to Visit U.S. This Week

British Prime Minister Tony Blair will meet with U.S. President George W. Bush this week, the White House announced Monday.
A statement from the White House press office said Blair and Bush are set to meet on Thursday, in a week that is likely to be dominated by discussion of Iraq policy.
The White House statement said the meeting would cover a broad range of international issues.
The President looks forward to continuing discussions with the Prime Minister on strengthening democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan, advancing peace and security in the Middle East, Iran's nuclear issue and the current situation in Darfur.
