The Saudi Arabian Cement Company has decided to construct a cement factory in the South Al-Qatranah region in southern Jordan. In a press statement, Eng. Abdullah Mohamed Al-Eisa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Cement Company said the establishment of the plant comes in implementation of the intentions of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to invest in the brotherly Arab countries and contribute in supporting the national economy. He added that the volume of investment in this project amounts to about $ 220 million. The factory will produce 5,000 tons per day of cement, which will be of high-quality specifications. It will utilize the latest advanced technologies that comply with environmental requirements and apply the international specifications.
