A roadside bomb exploded in a remote area of troubled southwestern Pakistan on Saturday, killing one person and wounding another, police said. No one claimed responsibility for the attack in Naushki, a town about 150 kilometers (90 miles) west of Quetta, the capital of southwestern Baluchistan province, said Atta Ullah, an area police official. He said the dead and injured had been transported to a hospital, the Associated Press reported.
