ARAB JUSTICE MINISTERS COUNCIL UNDERSCORED THE IMPORTANCE OF CONTINUING ARAB LOBBYING THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY FOR FORMING A TASK TEAM TO STUDY THE PROPOSAL SUBMITTED BY THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ REGARDING THE SET UP OF AN INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR COMBATING TERRORISM AND THE SUPPORT FOR THE WORLD EFFORTS TO HOLD AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF THE UNITED NATIONS TO DISCUSS THE PHENOMENON OF TERRORISM AND EXPEDITING THE ACCREDITATION OF THE UNITED NATIONS COMPREHENSIVE AGREEMENT FOR COMBATING TERRORISM, INCLUDING A DEFINITION DISTINGUISHING BETWEEN TERRORISM AND THE RIGHT OF PEOPLES TO RESIST OCCUPATION AND AGGRESSION. THIS CAME IN A FINAL STATEMENT ISSUED BY THE CLOSING SESSION OF THE ARAB JUSTICE MINISTERS 22ND CONFERENCE IN CAIRO TODAY, DR. ABDULLAH BIN MOHAMMED BIN IBRAHIM AL ASHEIKH , MINISTER OF JUSTICE, LED SAUDI ARABIA'S DELEGATION TO THE CONFERENCE. THE MINISTERS ALSO UNDERSCORED THE IMPORTANCE E OF ARAB BILATERAL AND COLLECTIVE COOPERATION TO ACTIVATE THE ARAB AGREEMENT FOR COMBATING TERRORISM. THEY CALLED FOR ADDRESSING THE ROOTS OF TERRORISM AND NOT CONFUSING TERRORISM AND ISLAMIC RELIGION AS ISLAM CALLS FOR TOLERANCE, REJECTION OF EXTREMISM, VIOLENCE AND TERRORISM.
