Rice to Meet Abbas on Thursday

According to Palestinian sources, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice will meet on Thursday with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas during a visit to the West Bank.
Rice this week will be attending an economic and development conference in Jordan, and will probably meet with Palestinians and Israelis to discuss a way to hold to the fragile ceasefire in Gaza, according to U.S. sources.
