Japan, Indonesia approve bilateral free trade pact

Japan and Indonesia have agreed on a free trade deal that includes an energy security partnership and cuts Indonesian tariffs on Japanese steel products, a news report said Tuesday.
The agreement came during a meeting between Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and visiting Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in Tokyo, according to Kyodo News agency.
