At least five people were killed and a further 28 injured when lightning struck a football stadium in northeastern Colombia, local media reported Monday according to Deutsche Presse Agentur dpa. The lightning bolt apparently struck a tent where many people had sought refuge from hail and rain at the stadium Sunday, in the town of Abrego, near the border with Venezuela, Bogota daily El Tiempo reported. The injured mainly suffered burns and 10 were younger than 18.
