Two Palestinians killed in clashes with Israeli military

Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinians in
separate incidents in the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Lahia
Saturday, medical and security officials said, according to DPA.
Seven Palestinians were also injured in the clashes.
The Israeli army said it was operating in the area to prevent
militants from firing makeshift rockets into southern Israel. It did
not disclose the timeframe for the operation, during which three
soldiers were lightly injured by Palestinian militants.
