Chiefs of Arab Police and Security concluded today the two-day deliberations of their 30th Conference by adopting a number of recommendations and issuing the Beirut declaration. The declaration asserted the strong condemnation of the Chiefs of Arab Police and Security against the Israeli brutal aggression on Lebanon. They praised the steadfastness of the Lebanese government, people and resistance as well as the outstanding performance shown by the army and the Lebanese Internal security forces in dealing with this aggression. The conferees reiterated their support to Lebanon in facing the aggression and eliminating its consequences, considering the unity of the Lebanese people in the face of aggression. They reaffirmed that standing in support of their government in various fields, would secure the future of Lebanon and its security and stability. They also called on the Arab security and civil protection services to provide the necessary support for the Lebanese people. Also, they urged the international community to work to force Israel to fully implement the Security Council resolution number 1701 and to stop its violations of Lebanese sovereignty, holding Israel full responsible for the aggression, its consequences and the deliberate targeting of civilians and infrastructure which constitutes a flagrant violation of international law. In conclusion, the declaration condemned Israel's continuous aggression on the Palestinian people and demanded lifting the siege on them.
