U.S. says Saddam verdict "good day" for Iraqis

The White House called
the verdict handed down to former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein on Sunday a good day for Iraqis.
"It's a good day for the Iraqi people," White House spokesman Tony Snow was quoted by Rueters as saying.
Saddam Hussein was sentenced to death by hanging after being found guilty of crimes against humanity.
