Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland Prince Mohammad bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz hosted an Iftar party yesterday at the embassy in London. It was attended by Arab and Islamic Ambassadors accredited to London, British officials and parliamentarians, Chiefs of Islamic Centers and institutions as well as the distinguished personalities. At the outset of the party, the ambassador honored the head of the Islamic Cultural Centre Ahmed Al-Dubian, who thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince for their support to the Centre. Al-Dubian also praised the role of the Saudi Ambassador and his support to all activities of the Centre. Speaking on the occasion, Prince Mohammad bin Nawaf welcomed all guests of the Iftar party and lauded the role of the Islamic community in England and projecting the true goals of forgiveness and moderation as enshrined in Islam. The ambassador affirmed this stance forms the sole path of rejecting all radical thoughts and projecting the real image of Islam. On his part, Kuwaiti Ambassador Khaled bin Abdul-aziz Al-Doesan gave a speech, thanking Prince Mohammed Bin Nawaf for his invitation and talked about fighting extremism. Later, Lord Nazir Ahmed from House of Lords also addressed the gathering and thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz for serving Islam and Muslims.
