Spanish foreign minister meets Turkish counterpart

Spain's foreign minister met with his Turkish counterpart on Sunday for talks expected to focus on Turkey's bid to join the European Union bid, problems over the divided island of Cyprus and the Middle East peace process.
Miguel Angel Moratinos arrived in Ankara from Syria and met with Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul, the Associated Press reported.
