PRINCE TURKI ALFAISAL BIN ABDULAZIZ, THE SAUDI AMBASSADOR TO THE US, ASSERTED THAT IT IS TIME TO PUT AN END TO THE SUFFERING OF THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE AND FIND A SOLUTION FOR THE PALESTINIAN CAUSE.
IN A SPEECH LAST NIGHT AT AN EVENT ORGANIZED BY THE "US TASK FORCE ON PALESTINE", HE SAID THE PALESTINIAN CAUSE IS NO LONGER JUST A REGIONAL PROBLEM AFFECTING THE MIDDLE EAST BUT ALSO THE WHOLE WORLD.
PRINCE TURKI HIGHLIGHTED SAUDI EFFORTS TO ACHIEVE PEACE BETWEEN THE PALESTINIANS AND THE ISRAELIS DURING THE LAST 25 YEARS.
THE EVENT ORGANIZED TO HONOR ACHIEVEMENTS OF A NUMBER OF PALESTINIAN AMERICANS WAS ATTENDED BY US SECRETARY OF STATE CONDOLEEZZA RICE.
