EID AL-FITR VACATION FOR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA STARTS AT THE END OF WORKING HOURS OF THE 18TH OF THE HOLY FASTING MONTH OF RAMADAN, FIVE DAYS AHEAD FROM PREVIOUS SCHEDULE, IT WAS ANNOUNCED HERE TONIGHT.
A STATEMENT ISSUED BY THE ROYAL COURT SAID THAT DUE TO THE WISH OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ THAT SCHOOL TEACHERS AND STUDENTS HAVE A CHANCE TO GET REST AND DEVOTE THEMSELVES TO WORSHIPPING DURING THE LAST TEN DAYS OF THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN, HE ORDERED THAT EID AL-FITR HOLIDAYS START AT THE END OF THE WORKING DAY OF WEDNESDAY 18TH OF RAMADAN CORRESPONDING TO OCTOBER 11, 2006.
