THE SAUDI MINISTER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DR. HASHIM BIN ABDULLAH YAMANI RECEIVED HERE TODAY THE US ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF COMMERCE AND DIRECTOR GENERAL OF US COMMERCIAL SERVICE I. HERNANDEZ.
DURING THE MEETING, THEY DISCUSSED WAYS OF DEVELOPING INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL RELATIONS AS WELL AS ENHANCING THE COOPERATION TO INCREASE THE SIZE OF COMMERCIAL EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES.
THE MEETING WAS ATTENDED BY UNDERSECRETARY OF THE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY FOR EXTERNAL TRADE ABDULLAH BIN ABDULRAHMAN AL-HOMODI AND A NUMBER OF SENIOR OFFICIALS.
IT IS WORTH MENTIONING THAT THE AMOUNT OF TRADE EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES WAS SR. 106995 MILLION IN 2004.
