SYRIA'S INFORMATION MINISTER DR. MOHSEN BILAL DESCRIBED THE SAUDI SYRIAN RELATIONS AS BASED ON FIRM FRATERNAL BASES OF COOPERATION AND MUTUAL RESPECT BETWEEN THE TWO LEADERSHIPS AND PEOPLES OF THE TWO COUNTRIES.
IN A STATEMENT TO THE SAUDI PRESS AGENCY, BEFORE LEAVING FOR SAUDI ARABIA TONIGHT TO TAKE PART IN THE SEVENTH ISLAMIC INFORMATION MINISTERS CONFERENCE SCHEDULED FOR JEDDAH ON WEDNESDAY, HE UNDERSCORED THE IMPORTANCE OF THE TWO-DAY EVENT AS IT IS BEING HELD AMID CRITICAL CIRCUMSTANCES FOR THE ISLAMIC AND ARAB NATIONS AND AS THEIR CULTURAL IDENTITIES ARE TARGETED.
