Year Action Plan, OIC Information Ministers in the Seventh Conference held in Jeddah in the period form 13th-14th of September 2006 emphasize the need to a massive media move in the international arena to reinforce communication with the most wide-spread international media and to increase religious tolerance amongst the world peoples. The conference also discussed the papers presented by the member countries about the points of the agenda and it ended up with : First, Interaction with Foreign Media: the conference is convinced, within the decision of the Third Extraordinary Summit of Islamic Countries regarding the necessity of a joint media move in the international arena, to recommend forming a mini supervisory ministerial committee whose job is to prepare an integrated work plan to communicate with the foreign world in the languages it understands and the ways that go with its logic and mentality. The committee will be helped by a team of specialized experts to put the plans and the executive program into effect. Moreover, all presented papers regarding this matter will be sent to the above mentioned committee. The conference has also decided to establish a special fund to be replenished by OIC member states to finance the programs and the projects included in the media move plan addressing the foreign world. --MORE
