THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES, KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ HAS APPROVED A NUMBER OF DECISIONS EARLIER TAKEN BY THE HIGHER EDUCATION COUNCIL. THE DECISIONS APPROVED BY THE KING INCLUDED A DECISION WHICH STIPULATES THAT THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS TO THE US AND THE ASIAN COUNTRIES TO BE NAMED UNDER 'THE PROGRAM OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ FOR FOREIGN SCHOLARSHIP'. DR KHALID AL-ANQARI, THE MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION, SAID THIS PROGRAM IS THE GREATEST GOVERNMENTAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO BE APPROVED BECAUSE IT ALLOCATES 15,000 OPPORTUNITIES FOR SCHOLARSHIP IN THE US AND 3000 IN SOME EASTERN COUNTRIES. HE NOTED THAT THE PROGRAM WILL INCLUDE DOCTORATE, MASTER, FELLOWSHIP AND BACHELOR DEGREES. THE DEGREES WILL BE IN SCIENTIFIC SPECIALIZATIONS THAT ARE REQUIRED BY THE LABOR MARKET, NOTABLY THE SPECIALIZATIONS OF MEDICINE, ENGINEERING, COMPUTER, MATHEMATICS AND PHYSICS. --MORE
