The Iranian Ministry of Economy and Finance has announced that the Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank (IDB) approved loans of more than $ 280 million for Iran last year to help finance various developmental projects, according to the Iranian News Agency "IRNA". The ministry said the IDB has also approved another loan worth $ 74.2 million for Iran for the same purpose. Additionally, the IDB has endorsed short-term facilities worth $ 209.4 million for the benefit of some Iranian companies.
