The Chairman of the National Consultative Council, Abdullah Al Mas'ood, today received Zhang Zhijun, Ambassador of China who paid him a courtesy visit to bid farewell at the end of his tenure. Al Mas'ood expressed the UAE's appreciation of the Ambassador's efforts to develop relations between the two countries. On his part, the Chinese Ambassador thanked UAE officials and praised them for their cooperation, wishing them and the UAE more successes under the wise leadership of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM."
