Daouq expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for supporting the charity to carry out its mission in the service of the Lebanese community. In an address at the Charity's 129th anniversary ceremony, Al-Daouq said that the charity has been able to do its mission due to the support it receives from philanthropists such as King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia pointing out that Lebanon has been facing a brutal enemy that has been trying to disseminate it. Al-Daouq added that the last cruel war launched by Israel has failed and the Lebanese people have become more and more unified to help develop their country and resume reinforcing all of its institutions.
