Heavy monsoon rains triggered floods in India's usually arid northern state of Rajasthan, killing 14 people over the past four days and prompting authorities to seek the help of the Indian Army in relief operations, officials and reports said Sunday. Ten rivers in the state had overflowed their banks causing widespread flooding and houses to collapse mostly in the state's southern Udaipur and Pali districts, Press Trust of India (PTI) reported.
