Germany is still seeking a second man suspected of planting bombs aboard trains three weeks ago, the country's top federal policeman said Saturday, hours after the arrest of a 21-year-old Lebanese student in the port city of Kiel, according to dpa. Joerg Ziercke, head of the BKA federal police, said in Kiel that a reward of 50,000 euros (63,950 dollars) for information leading to their arrest was still available. He was speaking half an hour after Prosecutor-General Monika Harms had confirmed in the southern city of Karlsruhe that the detainee was one of the men shown carrying a suitcase bomb by security cameras on July 31. The two bombs failed to explode. Ziercke said police who searched Kiel's main railway station after arresting the student before dawn found no explosives. He said a second man arrested at the station had nothing to do with the bombing inquiry, but was sought on unrelated gun charges.
