The peace agency of Sri Lanka's Tamil Tiger rebels said Saturday that at least 141 civilians have been killed by government bombs and shelling since Aug. 8, in what it called the worst week of killings since the two sides signed a cease-fire in 2002. The Peace Secretariat of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, or LTTE, said the civilians were killed in air force strikes and shelling in the north and east. In a statement on its Web site, it listed where each of the 141 civilians were killed, according to a report of the Associated Press.
