Police fending off an attack by Taliban killed two insurgents in southern
Afghanistan, a police official said Tuesday.
There were no injuries among officers from the clash in
the Garmser district of the southern Helmand province, said
provincial police chief Ghulam Nabi Malakhail.
Police recovered two AK-47 assault rifles and one
rocket-propelled grenade from the scene, Malakhail was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
