Concerted rocket barrages on northern Israel Sunday killed a total of 15 people, 12 of them reserve soldiers, DPA reported. Three civilians were killed Sunday evening when rockets slammed into apartment buildings in Haifa, Israel's third largest city, which has been a frequent target of Hezbollah Katyushas since the fighting erupted on July 12. An earlier rocket attack, near Kfar Giladi in the area of northern Israel known as the Galilee panhandle, killed 12 reserve soldiers, the highest single toll from a rocket attack since the violence began.
