A Palestinian faction said Sunday that one of its members was killed in Israeli air strikes on its bases in Lebanon. It was the first known death of a Palestinian fighter inside Lebanon in nearly a month of Israeli attacks. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine General-Command said several fighters were also wounded in Israeli attacks on at least two bases in southeastern Lebanon. A statement from the group issued in Damascus said Israeli warplanes have attacked a number of its positions in the eastern Bekaa Valley and south of Beirut throughout the war. The group identified the man killed as Amer Naser.
