Windows were blown out of an apartment building in Amman on Saturday in what authorities said appeared to be an explosion caused by a gas leak, AP reported. Several people including an infant were injured and rushed to the hospital, said civil defense chief Awad al-Masaid. He said the preliminary investigation showed that the explosion on the ground floor was likely caused by a gas leak ignited by an electrical short circuit. The blast blew out windows from three of the building's four floors and ripped the front door from its hinges.
