NORWEGIAN KING TO VISIT PAKISTAN

Norwegian King Harald is due to attend celebrations marking Pakistan's Independence Day on August 14, officials
said.
The 69-year-old monarch was also slated to receive a special award for promoting ties with Pakistani nationals who live in Norway and Norwegians of
Pakistani origin.
Numbering some 27,700 people at the beginning of 2006, Pakistani nationals are the largest immigrant group in the Scandinavian country of some 4.6 million inhabitants.
