Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Salih ended yesterday a brief visit to Qatar. During the visit President Salih reviewed with Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani issues pertaining to bilateral relations and the current situation in the Arab region. The Qatari news agency reported that Salih and al-Thani have reiterated the importance of taking an effective Arab stand so as to end bloodshedding and to extend support to the Palestinians and the Lebanese.
