RABAT-BASED Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) has condemned the massacre of Gana, Lebanon, which targeted innocent civilians including children and women, and it has also condemned continuation of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon and the Palestinian territories. ISESCO, in a statement issued yesterday, urged the Muslim countries to activate the resolutions of the third extraordinary Islamic Summit, held in Makkah in December 2004, which stipulated the importance of solidarity of the OIC's member states vis-a-vis the challenges and threats facing the Muslim nation. The barbaric Israeli aggression on Lebanon and Palestine, which is supported by the US government, and which comes in violation to the international law, constitutes the greatest challenge', said the statement and added 'it is high time to collectively work for aborting the criminal plots hatched against the Muslim world. The statement urged the international community to condemn the Israeli aggression, and work for bringing to justice the officials who have been committing vicious crimes against the mankind and undermining the pillars of the global peace and security.
