American Committee for Strategic Dialogue Holds Meeting Washington, July 28, SPA -- The working group, an affiliate of the Saudi-American committee for strategic dialogue between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the US, held here on Wednesday evening its second meeting to review aspects of cooperation in the field of partnership, education, and human development. The Saudi side was led by Prince Turki al-Faisal, the Saudi ambassador to the US. Later the participants of the meeting attended the reception party held in their honor by former US ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Walter Cutler. Meanwhile, Saudi ambassador to the US Prince Turki al-Faisal held a reception party Thursday evening in honor of the members of the working group. The reception party was attended by a number of diplomats and senior officials. Prince Turki al-Faisal highlighted the importance of the strategic dialogue between the Kingdom and the US, and said it will positively contribute to further enhancing bilateral relations. In a statement to SPA, Prince Turki al-FaisaL lauded the great attention being given by the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to the programs of human development, development of higher education and transference of technology. He noted that King Abdullah university for sciences and technology is expected to become and important center for scientific research and advanced technology in the Kingdom.
