AS MANY AS 39 PEOPLE WERE KILLED AND 105 OTHERS
WOUNDED IN ISRAELI AIRSTRIKES ON SOUTHERN LEBANON ON SUNDAY, HOSPITAL
SOURCES SAID, DPA REPORTED.
AMONG THE DEAD WAS A CANADIAN FAMILY OF FIVE WHO WERE KILLED IN
AN ISRAELI RAID ON THE SOUTHERN VILLAGE OF AITAROUN, LEBANESE
SECURITY SOURCES SAID.
EARLIER, TEN CIVILIANS WERE KILLED IN AN ISRAELI AIRSTRIKE ON THE
SOUTHERN PORT CITY OF TYRE.
