REBELS ATTACKED AN AFGHAN ARMY CONVOY PATROLLING LATE FRIDAY IN SOUTHERN ZABUL PROVINCE'S SHINKAY DISTRICT, SPARKING A GUNBATTLE THAT KILLED FOUR TALIBAN, SAID LOCAL ARMY COMMANDER RAZZAQ KHAN. SOLDIERS DETAINED ONE TALIBAN AND THERE WERE NO ARMY CASUALTIES, ACCORDING TO A REPORT OF THE ASSOCIATED PRESS.
