U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld arrived in Iraq Wednesday morning on an unannounced visit to meet with commander of U.S. forces in Iraq Gen. George Casey and U.S. troops. His plane landed in Balad, a major air force base about 40 miles (64 kilometers) north of Baghdad. Rumsfeld and Casey will attend a 45-minute question and answer session with U.S. troops later in the day.
